I had just opened a bottle of Sonnet Cellars Pinot Noir when my neighbor came over for a quick visit. I poured him a glass of this terrific wine and he lingered for another pour, eventually departing with a hefty glass!

Going Dark

Frank Family Vineyards’ 2023 Zinfandel features flavors of dark fruits, and enticing aromas of pepper, cinnamon and spice.

Demetria Estate Pantheon Blanc grapes are sourced from the organically farmed White Barn Vineyard in Santa Ynez and fermented in a blend of barrels.

Silver Standard

Silver Mountain’s wines are handcrafted and superb. The 2017 Syrah combines the best of two vineyards, giving it depth and complexity.

A Different White

Godello is very aromatic with bright flavors of peach, pear and apple. As much as we all love chardonnay and sauvignon blanc, it’s nice to imbibe something different

Perfect Pairing

The Little Uvas 2020 Santa Clara Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($40) is one I highly recommend. Bold and bright with flavors of cassis, cranberry and blueberry.
